  • One out of three women has difficulty reaching orgasm. One out of four men reach orgasm too quickly. One out of three men have difficulty with erections, just like the one third of women who have difficulty with arousal and lubrication.
  • A great many couples struggle with frequent sexual dysfunctions, which destroy their sexual pleasure, the quality of their emotional connection, and their satisfaction with each other.
  • Untreated sexual problems erode other areas of couples’ relationship, and frequently lead to emotional alienation, arguments and hostility, and extramarital affairs.
  • Couples and singles need effective tools for understanding and resolving sexual dysfunctions, but many therapists and counselors lack the necessary specific training.

Over the last decades therapists have learned sexual problems are often unresponsive to straight-forward body-oriented treatment. It is important to address the systemic emotional processes that maintain sexual problems long after their original source is eliminated. Likewise, mere insight and talk-therapy is often ineffective in eliminating problems of sexual performance. People have to be physically and emotionally engaged doing new things. Couples’ co-existing relationship problems also must be addressed.

Who is the Crucible Sexual Dysfunction Workshop for?

This program is for therapists and mental health professionals looking for a revolutionary understanding of men and women's most common sexual performance problems. This uplifting positive-psychology approach offers hope, inspiration, and time-tested solutions to couples around the world confronted with these ubiquitous problems. If you work with couples struggling with arousal and orgasm problems, this workshop offers new insights and practical tips for turning long-standing sexual dysfunctions into fulfilling physical relationships. After getting a thorough overview and framework for understanding and treating common sexual dysfunctions, you get a full day devoted to women's sexual problems, and another one on men's dysfunctions. This in-depth focus gives you specific tips on staging treatment for success.

The multi-systemic Crucible Approach addresses all these levels in a cohesive way that can help couples with long-standing sexual and relationship difficulties. Crucible Therapy approaches resolving sexual dysfunctions as opportunities for personal development, becoming a more differentiated solid person who has greater ability to be truly intimate and erotic.

Crucible Sexual Dysfunction Workshop Overview

It illuminates the mental and physical worlds of sex in ways that make even complex sexual problems understandable and resolvable, while creating the best sex possible. You'll learn how to set up treatment to maximize success and avoid common therapy pitfalls.
