Psychology Today Blog
is HOT!

"Ideas to Ponder" from Intimacy & Desire

Our new blog on PsychologyToday.com is really cooking. The blog is called "Ideas to Ponder from Intimacy & Desire," and explores the "Ideas to Ponder" at the end of each chapter in the book.

Right now we have TWO articles in the coveted "Most Read" category on the front page. Only 5 lucky posts stay there for readers to see, long after other articles scroll off the front page and enter PT's massive archives. Just getting one article up there is a real accomplishment given the hundreds of bloggers on the site.

The two articles with drawing power are initial installments in a four-part series focusing on the natural sexual ecology of love relationships. They are:

We just released "People have sex..." yesterday and it has taken off. Beaufort Books (our publisher) is currently running a banner ad on PsychologyToday.com for the release of the new paperback version of Intimacy & Desire. Their timing couldn't be better.

These articles grew out of a reader's response to our prior posts,

  • People Who Can't Control Themselves Control The People Around Them Part 1 and Part 2

This article also hit the "Most Read" list and was selected as an 'Essential Read" by Psychology Today editors. "Sexual Relationships..." became an "Essential Read" too, and we're still hoping "People have sex..." will get there as well!

Do yourself and us a favor by checking out these articles on PsychologyToday.com.This is some of the best material we've put out for the public. When the series is completed, it will be the most practical explanation of differentiation we've ever developed.

Please let your friends know about these new articles. It also helps greatly if you "Like" (Facebook), "tweet" (Twitter), or "Stumble" (StumbleUpon) our pages.

Also consider our Passionate Marriage Couples Enrichment Workshop in Denver CO July 22-24, 2011, which now contains mind-mapping brain science. We'd love to see you there.

Three days CAN make a difference!

website
Our empirically-validated Couples Enrichment Weekend is a 3-day program for couples, proven to enhance relationship satisfaction, improve sex and intimacy, reduce conflict, and improve how conflict is handled.
We can't guarantee results, but independent research by two major universities found people who attended the CEW showed these benefits.

We've done CEWs for almost 20 years and we love doing them. This year we've included mind-mapping brain science, dramatically increasing the power and speed of getting down to basic truths about your relationship.

This CEW should be better than ever!

Wonderful presentations are followed by partnered activities for immediate application. There is no sexual contact or nudity. No requirement of public disclosure. Every couple works at it's own level. We give you the tools to work on issues. You choose how deep you want to go.

  • Revitalize your marriage.
  • Take time for each other.
  • Create a mini-retreat for you and your partner in our conference hotel.

If you or other couples you know need more than Intimacy & Desire or Passionate Marriage, but you don't need our Intensive Therapy Program, the Couples Enrichment Program is for you. For more information, click here.
