Are you looking to increase your effectiveness as a Crucible therapist?
Do you want more guidance in between the large annual CNT workshops?
The Crucible Institute is pleased to announce a new program for consultation of experienced students and practitioners.
Committing to this 6 month program will deepen your ability to utilize the Crucible approach to practicing therapy. There will be a high level of effort and time expected of all participants in this program.
This is an application based program and will take up to 8 students. Please send your completed application to [email protected]. Upon acceptance, you will receive further registration instructions.
Prerequisites:
Attendance at two or more Crucible Neurobiological Therapy workshops.
Participation or viewing of Dr. Schnarch’s monthly webinars
Attendance at additional Crucible workshops is preferred.
Requirements:
Submit application and receive acceptance letter
A video clip portion of one therapy session
Solid internet accessibility
Ability to make group consults and to schedule individual consults
Program Details:
Total program cost= $2200
Payment is due in full before start of program.
$366.70/month x 6 months=$2200
This total price includes:
Individual Consults- 3 (1 hr) consults with analysis and advice on your video clip.
Monthly Group Consults– 3rd Mondays from 10 am- 1 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)

About Your Consult Group Leaders:
Barbara Fairfield, LMFT
Barbara Fairfield is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Maryland. She is a consultant in the Genetics Department of The Johns Hopkins University Hospital where she facilitates a supervision group for the genetic counselors in various clinics there. Barbara received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Adler-Dreikurs Institute of Human Relationships at Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. In her private practice, besides seeing couples and individuals, she also conducts three therapy groups, two all-female and one all-male group. She is married to Don Fairfield, a retired NASA scientist who is also trained with Barbara to lead marriage enrichment groups as Specialists with the Better Marriages non-profit organization. She and Don have two grown children and two grandsons.
Grace Whitman, LCSW
Grace Whitman is a clinical social worker in private practice. She graduated from the University of MD’s School of Social Work with a specialty in Human Sexuality. She completed three years of post-graduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. Prior to full-time private practice, Grace worked at the St. Francis Center in the 80’s during the height of the AIDs epidemic. She also worked at the Washington School of Psychiatry as the intake coordinator and as a staff psychotherapist. She lives on a farm in rural Maryland with her spouse and an abundance of animals. Grace has two grown children and two grand-daughters.
